Well I picked up Two Remington's a Model 8 & Model 81 both in 30 Remington Cal. I traded a Springfield XDM 45 acp full size for both of them today. The Model 8's serial number is 487XX and the Model 81's serial number is 30XX. Both Rifles are in at least 97% to 95%.
The Model 8 has a Peep Sight. The Model 81 is almost perfect. I would like to know a value on these two if possible.
Thank You. Guy said they were his grandfathers and he never really hunted or used them.

Howdy, if you scored an 8 and 81 for an XDM, unless the rifles were in a pond for a few years, I'd say you scored quite well. Congrats!

Hey hacker51,

Welcome to the group. I will agree with the above comments.

However, if you have change for a nickel, I might talk with you about taking them off your hands.
