i'm new to the model 8 and new on here. I'm looking to get my first model 8 or 81 , either 35 Remington or 300 Savage.

Welcome to the forum. You shouldn't have any difficulty finding an 81-300. There are several rifles listed on Gun Broker. Most of the prices are reasonable.

Well fellas, I have to admit that I had it before I joined this forum. But after talking to, and meeting Jack in person , I have to report that it may have gotten worse. Well at least I can blame it on Jack. But the real truth is, I'm sure it's not his fault or anyone else's fault. I'm really not much good at controlling it on my own. So beware of this disease my friends. It's fun as Jack stated,but very expensive to treat!!! But it's better than spending your money on things like booze,cigarettes,cigars,or exotic dancers. Whoops,did I say that out loud. Sorry.
