Clip and ammunition.
Since I can't afford to shoot factory 35 Remington, the first order of business is to come up with some reloads that work the action of the Remington. This was made easy after reading John Henwoods book.
I have settled on 3 loads.
#1 Hornady 200 gr JRN, 35 gr 3031, CCI LR primer
#2 Hornady 158 gr HP/XTP, 35 gr 3031, CCi LR primer
#3 Rainier 158 gr Plated , 18.6 gr 2400, CCI LR primer.
All 3 of these loads performed fine and are pictured below in a slightly tweeked M14 clip which also work fine in 35 Rem caliber.

PS the 5 cartridges in the M14 stripper are factory 150 gr pictured to display the clip.

Re: Rookie report part 2
Those Hornady XTP's are supposed to be awesome bullets in pistols, I can't imagine what they would be like @ 2000+fps!
