I did some target shooting today with the 25. Open sights at 100 yards. I shot 100gr 87gr and 75gr. It was a little high and to the right. These were loads that I loaded and was curious to see how they performed. I was very pleased with the groupings. The 25 is really a fun gun to shoot. Little to no kick! I posted a short clip on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/MARCIAG7#p/ ... DPvwSyf_x0

BTW, try resting the rifle on something soft (rolled up jacket, soft guncase folded in half, etc). That may be why your shots are high and right. Any rifle will tend to "bounce" off a hard rest like that.

I know what you mean. I just didn't have a sand bag handy for the shoot. I'll try the 35 maybe today.

Thanks 81police. Going to try the Model 81 300 Savage tomorrow. I just reloaded some new rounds (Hornady SST 180gr) and want to see how they perform.

Here is a video shooting the Model 81 300 Savage Stith scope Lyman mounts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i022s5VPfrQ
After this shot I took out the water jugs. Battery was dead in the camera.
Weather was great, we had a good time!
