Hello from Alaska

Post by mart »

Just joined the site. Great information. I've really enjoyed reading all the great posts.

I have my first model 8, a 25 Remington, on the way. Should be here next week. I've always had an affinity for the classic American firearms, especially the model 8 Remington and the 1910 Winchester. I picked up a 1910 a couple of years ago.

I had a stash of 30 Remington brass and just turned out 100 rounds of 25 Remington brass with my new Hornady dies. They came out great. Now just need the rifle to get here so I can get to the range with it.

Looking forward to sharing more on the 25.

Be sure to fire form the necked down cases. I use 10g of unique with a medium weight bullet in this size case for forming. It will help you avoid too much headspace.
