Redirection of our site

Post by Phyrbird »

Cam, David,

Lately I noticed Firefox is blocking "redirecting to another page" a lot on the new posts. That is usually a sign of virus or phishing activity. You might consider checking for some unwanted stuff on the site, please.

I run pretty stout virus protection from this end, :ugeek: so it might be loading with the new pages.

Carl,

Just to add some feedback. I use google chrome just about 100% of the time, and haven't run into the "redirect" issues myself. Although I do use chrome almost always, I occasionally revert to old-timey internet explorer when my company requires me to do so.

By "company" I of course mean my school district - which has several "legacy" network-related intranet sites that only work in explorer.

I might do a check and run this site in mozilla/firefox and see what happens.

Man, are we geeking out or whut?

We've entered the geek zone! That's ok because I'm one too. Thanks for the heads up. I use a combination of IE and Firefox and have yet to have this issue, but I will be on the lookout should it happen to me or other members report frequent issues. Aight!

I use Firefox as much as possible and have see no redirection. I am an IT supervisor so I can try more paths in but nothing from home or work as of yet.
