I'm from Canada,and I'm new to this forum.I've been retired for a couple of years and I do have some spare time to spend on one of my best hobbies, Good Old Remington Rifles...I'm very new to the Model 8 & 81 Remingtons but I must say that I'm a Remington Pump Fan..I'm actually the proud owner of a Model 12,a Model 12C,a Model 14 in .30rem,a Model 14 in .32rem,a Model 14 1/2 in 44-40 and of 3 Model 870's ,.410,20 ga and 16 ga.No I do not own a Model 8 yet but I'm keeping an eye out for one,and I just can't wait to put my hands on one.In the meantime I read & learn all I can about the Model 8 & 81..and I must say that I'm glad to be here on this forum..

Welcome to the forum. Lots of really good guys here who are very knowledgeable about the Remington Autoloading rifle. I got to get me one of those 14 1/2 rifles. So cool.

Welcome to the forum. Like you, I'm a fan of vintage Remington rifles and the pump guns are particular favorites. I have a 121 in 22LR and a 141 in 35 Remington that are great hunting rifles. I think you are going to find the autos equally interesting.
