How about the Model 11

Post by Joe Snag »

I just got done refurbishing my wifes grandfathers model 11,before I started it looked like it was a cross between a boat anchor and the front bumper of a demolition derby car,it was unreal and sad,the stock was in pieces solid rust and 4" of the barrel was bulged half again it's size,I still need a butt plate and a bead.

Looks like most importantly... a happy camper. :D Great job. Mine looks very much like yours, 'cept I ended up with a Savage barrel and an A5 butt pad - I was surprised at what a sweet shooter it is. Love seeing these old ones fixed up and used.
