This one was a bear, it has me second guessing doing more doubles, lol. So So many small parts. Just to recap before the glory shots, Model 1889 Remington 10 Gauge ( http://www.kentuckyhunting.net/forums/s ... 9-10-Gauge ) made 120 years ago this past June.

Almost too pretty! Hope they take her to the party anyway. Well done.

Turned out nice - just as I'd expect, from the 'smithing work you share with us here!
By the way, your old double reminded me of the old Waltons episode when John-Boy went hunting turkey with his father and friends. He (John-Boy) was about to go out with a beater old single-shot, when Gran-Pa offered him his old double to take along at the last minute. May or may not have been a 10, sure at least was a 12 gauge - and the way the story played out was interesting.
John-Boy saved his dad's life with that shotgun when he was attacked by a wounded gear - cool story. As a kid growing up on a rural farm in Virginia, I saw all those Waltons shows from the beginning, in 1972 or so - I could identify with them pretty easily!
Never did own a double or a single, though!
Sorry for the tangent....just a connection to an old story!
