.32 Remington with 110 grain bullet

Post by Hardrada55 »

I never realized that .32 Remington was available at one time with a 110 grain "Hi-Speed" "Mushroom" pointed bullet.

Really cool. I wonder how much more f.p.s they push than the 170's?

Never knew about them until i ran across that auction. That sure is a pricey box of ammo.

I may have that info in one of my old books. I’ll try to find it for you.

I’m sorry, but none of my books even list this 110 gr. Loading. The earliest book is 1932. So it may have been discontinued before that.

I'd love to know a FPS on that round!

So maybe it was discontinued between 1927 and 1932. I’m sure coyote hunters loved that round. However it must not have sold very well.
Thanks for your time

2550fps is pretty smokin out of an 8/81. Look at the 87gr for the 25Rem, hot rod @ 2700fps!
