30-30 rem

Post by ranman »

Found five 30-30 Remington rounds in my stash this week . I happened to check the headstamps as I also shoot 32 and noticed it was stamped odd. I think these were only made the first year or two. Pictures will follow.

those are very cool and likely very rare. I've been told the "U" primers were pre-1910

30-30 Remington for the model 8 not Winchester 1894, I bet there was some upset hunters back then.

Is 30-30 REM the same as .30 Remington?

Yes this is the same round , but renamed to avoid confusion with the 30-30 wcf rimmed .
