new forum format

Post by Roger »

This is to whomever it concerns. On my tablet computer, this new format is OK except for one thing. I have always used the active topic icon in the past. But now it simply isn't there anymore. This may just be an anomaly with my tablet. But if it is everyone ,then I would like to register my complaint now. I realize that it's easy for me to sit at home here in Iowa and complain. But it would make my life easier if it was fixed. Thanks to everyone who makes this website so good. I really don't complain much about anything. Thanks for your time,
Roger

Ditto to what Roger said !
I did enjoy when I had the time, clicking on the active post and reading everyone's post.
Where did the "Active Post Link" go? Enjoy Life, Bob @ S and S HUNTCLUB

Howdy fellas! So our admin updated the forums to keep current.

HOWEVER! Regarding the "view active topics" I initially felt your pain. The button is still there, it just moved to a different location. Please see the photo below for where to go. The top left of the screen "quick links" will drop down several buttons to choose from..."active topics" is one of them.

For me personally "active topics" is all I ever use!

I hate to complain, but the "new topic" button at the top of each forum doesn't work. I'd like to post some more pics of the latest, but it won't let me. :(

It may be the android devices I'm using.

That's it. My two Android devices don't recognize the new topic button, tho they do recognize the reply button. Weird. I'll have to do all my new posting from my PC's.

I've experienced a few issues myself using mobile devices (my phone). Currently there are only 2 forum board formats to choose from, this one looks the best.

But, if y'all would like to see some changes or would like to submit concerns over buttons not working, I'd highly recommend emailing the admin who has control over these things.
