Winchester 1895
I was wondering if stripper clips were ever made for the Winchester model 1895. It's a John Browning design gun non detachable box magazine simalr to 8 81.
Re: Winchester 1895
Even though we are Remington guys some of us do fiddle with the Dubja brand. The "Russian Musket" as you will read about in the link below was indeed fitted with a stripper clip guide per the contract with Winchester. It was an 1895 variant and chambered for the 7.62X54 Rimmed cartridge. I had one in my collection few years back until someone that wanted it more than I came along. Potent weapon, with that round having ballistics that mirror our 308 Win and present day 7.62 NATO.
