A friend of mine just gave me an old gun that has been residing in his safe for years. It is a Marlin Model 50 22 autoloader and is in descent shape but is missing a couple of parts. It seems there is not too much information out there on these and they are relatively rare. Made between 1932 and 1935 with production of about 5000, it seems that most were recalled for some reason and therefore there are not many of them still out there. The model 50 was Marlin's first autoloader 22 and fired from an open bolt which made it very unique. Just wondering if any of you are familiar with this neat rifle. Haven't figured out how to post pics yet otherwise I'd put up some pictures.
Talk about things other than the Model 8's and 81's
