Keep in mind.......when fire forming the amount of "SUDDEN" expansion doesn't always give great results. Whenever pressure is applied in a confined space the pressure will always want to go to the weakest point.

Without proper inspection equipment never try to gauge things by the naked eye, it can be deceiving and generally is.

I convert those all the time, and have a thread on another site for those. I find that Hydroforming those seems to work best, but it took me awhile to come up with a good technique to make it all happen. Not only am I the tightest S.O.B. I know of I did a lot of reading and made my own stuff. Folks just don't realize when your pushing a shoulder location another .040 longer, brass cases don't always like to play nice. Hydroforming is a more gradual way of doing this, but like I said, I made my own stuff.

I just got done doing 225Win from 30-30 cases, there's a .090 difference in shoulder location. Fire forming those is what most do but since I don't own anything in 225, again......I made what I needed for Hydroforming..
