Good to hear from you again. I and others have wondered what had become of you. That sawmill is set up like one a good friend of mine has down here in N.Florida . He built a good sized house from the lumber that he made on that mill. Next time I`m out there I`ll take some pictures and post em. Sure ain`t stoppin by Home Depot for lumber is it?

What a tinker, how do you get the belt to track on the tire?
I used to work in U/G coal mines; ;) I know what a chore tracking can be....
And how does the chip chain work? Looks cool.

Back to U: Lord help if it ever comes off. Our Fiendly neighborhood safety  folks (no acronyms mentioned) would go NUTS
I think the whole rig is innovative, just please be very careful. My Dad's 12" Mall Saw (handheld) kicks back like a mule. It's worm drive.

Thanks, a old car tire has a crown to it which keeps the belt on, works great.
The sawdust chain has paddles on it and just carries it too the pile, fast huh.

Glad to see you are doing OK. I was so disappointed to see that that the saw mill was not powered by a steam engine. Anyway, always inspired by your endeavers and that wife.

Thanks, steam would be fun but a hassle, I used to have a few oil field engines I wish I would of tried on it.
