MUST STOP! Been on a buying binge.

Post by In The Ten Ring »

OK....I have to stop myself for a while.

In 2014 I bought a Model 81 from 1936 with a 4 digit serial number and the beefier forearm.

This year I have bought 1 Model 8, 1 Model 81, two Marbles peep sights, 1 Marbles folding rear, 1 Lyman folding rear (last two just now on ebay), and I just concluded a deal with a guy for a second Model 8. All .35 Remington and 1 .300 Savage.

I have also bought 4 boxes of .35 Remington, Henwood's book, and I have been browsing Google images for ideas on building a reloading bench.

TIME TO PUT THE BRAKES ON!

*At least until I buy some .300 Sav ammo and see another rifle I "need."

See what you guys have caused?

Definitely a dangerous place. I just bought a model 8 in 25, a set of Hornady 25 Remington dies, three stripper clips and Henwood's book. I also plundered my 30 Remington brass stash to make 100 rounds of 25 Remington brass.

This is your brain on Model 8's.....
I am the cat who walks by himself. And all places are alike to me.
