Hey Fun,

I'm chronic ... kinda' like Jack.

I knew this for certain when I realized the little rifle I bought two weeks ago was one that I had spent
13 years looking for.

There was an extra 0 there too. You know ... you never know.

Hey Jim! I'll keep my eyes open for any of the other "Special Police" line of guns: Model 11 & 31. Just as a bit of fun, I found this picture surfing the net one day. It's peculiar because none of the "Special Police" documentation I've seen ever mentioned a Model 870. Of course it came out in 1951 so maybe Remington just kept the roll marking equipment to mark some of these guns as well. Pretty cool...
