I love waffles. I had waffles for breakfast today.

The point here was the cool old waffle iron and cook stove i`m using.
You guys are sure hard to please here, maybe i`m misreading the title of this forum.
It looks like it says to talk about anything but Remingtons. :?

South Georgia at my Grandma`s and you got up early to get the stove going for breakfast. You can guess who split and brought in the wood. The whole house was warmed and smelled great in the winter time from that stove but oh the heat in the summer. Nothing like a bonfire in the kitchen when its 90 degrees to keep everyone out of there but the cook . Several thousand meals prepared on it. Wish we had kept that old stove when she passed on.

Thanks Sarge756, we use the cook stove quite a bit here in MN in the winter.
We just finished cutting and splitting wood for it.

Aaaaugh! That reminds me of work...! Who allowed that pic!!! ;)
Out of work most of a year almost 20yrs ago, my son and I cut, split (by hand), and delivered a lot of wood to survive. I'll pass on the great smell, heat, and... OK maybe not on the waffles. :D

Thanks, that`s just the cook stove wood, there`s ten cord of big wood that has to be cut for the big furnace.
Lots of work and swear every year that`s the last year but free is nice as we have our own wood.
We added more to this pile.

This is for the big wood, forced air.

Free is good. Outside... MN... winter... REAL frozen waffles... not so much. Howsbout overnighting those hot waffles permeated with wood smoke? :? (With that thought in mind, might just have to go make my own.)
