What a wonderful set up! The case is pristine.

81/8 carry cases............

Post by kaintuck »

if anyones interested, message me about getting cases made for your rifle, i can take the total, and go see what the $$ would be. i have 3 friends that make leather as a living, saddle, braces, boots, purses etc...
time wise, sometimes the Amish boys 'put me on a schedule'.....but this case was only 3 weeks long...he DID have other customer projects lined up.
Each person would need to tell me what the wanted, same as mine...or some border tooling, chrome or brass hardware, shoulder strap, etc...then I would get back with a $$ amount, then you would send me the $$ and I will get the order in progress.
pm me with what you want, and I can tell you more each individually~

then we all can have a case to slobber over

Very nice breakdown rifle case, Amish leather workers are skilled craftsmen of days past, they have to be using draft horses for farming and making the harness for the animals. A few years ago they made parts for US Cavalry saddels and tack I was restoring, first class items. That Cord automobile appears to be a a 1937 Model 812, a real classic, the blond model is also a classic, think they still make those, hum, at 87 had better get back to Remington 8s. Nuff said, Jerry

I'd guess your Amish friend could probably make a pretty good piece of change from the viewers of this site. If he would care to offer a price range for his products, I think it would generate a lot of interest here. I doubt if my budget would allow a purchase, but I'd imagine that there are many of better financial means than I who would jump at the chance to get one.
