Hog Hunt for Model 8/81 owners, et al....

Post by J. Riekers »

I'm hosting a hog hunt that will be perfect for 8/81 shooters and equally interesting to levergunners, handgun shooters and others where close range and good daylight are necessary for good shooting. This low-fence property is extensively managed for hogs with feeders, selective brush and cover manipulation and several other methods in place. The hogs are readily located in the daylight, whether from a stand (with shots up to 40 yards) or by spot and stalk. Here's the deal:

When - April 16th Saturday
Where - N.E. Texas
What - One hog guaranteed for $325. Additional hogs are $150 under 100 pounds and $250 over 100 pounds
Details - You can arrive Fri evening and stay over in rustic cabin for $25, or camp on property for free. Hunt starts Saturday morning at 6:150AM. 2 1/2 hours on stand, spot and stalk throughout the day and back on stand at 6:30 PM until dark. Depart Saturday night or stay over until Sunday morning $25 for rustic cabin, camping free. Hog skinning and quartering is $25 per hog any size.
Deposit of $125 due by February 25th. Paid in full by March 1 will receive $25 discount on hunt or credit toward night in cabin.

This is great for kids, new hunters or experienced. Shots are up to 50 yards, most around 30 yards.

Let me know your interest!

I'm resistant to anything but temptation! Let's see, daughters wedding in DC or hog hunt? Daughters wedding or hog hunt? Daughters wedding or divorce papers.... Hog hunt or ... how long can I stay?
Though defensive violence will always be “a sad necessity” in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men. - St. Augustine

This hunt is all set up now. You don't have to use your 8/81, and may use a handgun, muzzleloader, archery equipment or any rifle. Please let me know if you are interested as I need to start collecting deposits. Thanks!
