model 81 still gets the job done!

Post by olskool » Fri Oct 14, 2016 3:16 pm

Imagei shot this buck this morning with my model 81 35 rem. made in 1938, he was hot after a doe. I used a 200gr hor. flex tip with 35gr of imr3031 he was about 50yds broad side, it was a great hunt with a great old rifle.

I had paged through this post of yours a few times, olskool, and when I took a good look of the nice buck you got I just had to giggle because he looks like you put red lipstick on him. Great shot !
