What's it worth?
Re: What's it worth?
it's worth whatever you ask for it, lol. I'm no expert on engraved rifles, I'd post on remingtonsociety.com as well.

Re: What's it worth?
Technically, the rifle in the photos is a No.6, or "Premier", grade. The last serial number shipped in 1910 was 21889, and the last serial number shipped in 1911 was 26489. With a serial number of 21973, this rifle's implied approximate year of manufacture would have been 1911. Prior to 1915 the grades were numbers: No.1 - "Standard"; No.3 - "Special"; No.4 - "Peerless"; No.5 - "Expert"; and No.6 - "Premier". After 1915 the numbers were changed to letters (A, C, D, E, and F, respectively). There was no No.2 or B.
You have a beautiful rifle, but it is a shame that someone has put a much later vintage ventilated, "white-line" recoil pad on it.
