A question and a lead for someone

Post by Bullpupone »

Hello to the forum, relatively new and reading old posts to try to learn more.

My question is does anyone know from when to when Williams produce the FP-81 sight? When I contacted Williams with photos all they could tell me was that it was one of their's (the clue was Williams printed on it).

Second is I found a Krieger coming up for auction and I thought I would pass it on to the group. As interested as I am in it, between the model 81 recently purchased with the fp-81 and the model 8 sarge786 is selling to me to abate my "jackitis" I am tapped out. Hope this helps treat someone elses desease.

Sir, thanks anyway, I knew it was a longshot asking when the manufacturer had no clue.

Bull

I just looked at a Williams Catalog from 1984 and it shows the FP-SSM and the 5D-SSM as sights that are to work on the 8's & 81"s, it didn't mention the FP-81. I'm not sure that helps much, you know it was before 1984 at least.
