I have a 1930 m8 in 35 rem and would like to know if any of you out there use a take down gun case like this "SportLock 36" LeatherLock Deluxe Canvas Takedown Shotgun Hard Case Brown"?

36" is a foot longer than it needs to be for a M8 rifle broken in two. I'd look at alternatives, maybe custom, or get a case long enough to keep from having to take the rifle down.
