Stamp question.

Here’s a couple pictures of my recently acquired Model 8 with stamps that I hope to hear some information about. One photo is at the serial number where the receiver meet the barrel. The second photo is on the barrel shroud.

These would be fitter/inspector stamps. There are many of them representing the many people, over the years, who worked on these guns. The markings are normal.

Thank you. I’m green behind the ears on these and figured I’d ask.

I’ve learned a bit over the time that I’ve been searching for one from this forum. Once I purchased one I decided it’s time to join the forum.

I assume since there’s no other stamps that this rifle was not sent back to Remington for any repairs.
