What's It Worth...

Post by ksmitty117 »

Good day everyone,

I have the opportunity to purchase a Model 8 in 25 Rem. Still gathering information on it (date code and serial number) but I was provided with a few pictures. The only information I know about it is that the Leupold scope is included in the deal, as well as a set of dies, brass, and some hand loaded ammo. The seller is an experienced hand loader and from what I know shot/shoots it. From the provided pictures, what do you feel is a fair price for the lot? I know it's not a ton to go off of, but I figured I'd try to gather a realistic number. Thank you.

On Gunbroker where I purchased my gun, rifles in this condition go from 500-800 depending on a number of factors. Yours looks like about middle of that range. This is only my personal opinion as a novice.

I was considering buying that one. I think you did rather well.
