15 round magazine

Post by Craigster1573 »

Hello,
I am recent owner of a 1909 Remington Self Load Auto Rifle and I was curious if anyone knows where to find 15 round magazines. I realize they were special made back in the day by a Police Supply Company but was wondering if there is anyone making modern copies. I would love an original but doubt there are any to be had and I'm sure the prices are astronomical. Thanks in advance, Craig

Hey Craig,

All your assumptions are correct. Original magazines, when found, carry astronomical prices. And there are no modern reproductions.

The most recent 15 round magazine at auction was last month, sold for $1625.00

Thank you Sir for your fast response. I'm glad to be a member and look forward to my new rifle when I receive it next week. Now all I need to do is locate a barrel disassembly tool. Any ideas of where one can be located? Final question , Is modern Hornady and other newly manufactured .35 ok in these older rifles? I just want to make sure the pressure is not too high that it's not battering the action on my rifle.
Respectfully,
Craig
