rate of twist on my Model 81 in 300 Savage

Post by panzerman »

Howdy all,
First off , Roger last year or so you sent me some fantastic loads for my 300 savage and in the move to our new house I have lost them. Do you mind sending them to me again please? Secondly is the rate of twist 1 in 10 for the 300 Savage? If so does this mean or could it mean that she would like the heavier bullets (180 gr) and up or is that pure nonsense and each rifle is different? The rate does appear to affect other rifles I own, namely a Rem 740 in 244 rem which has a 1 in 12 and does not like the projos over 95gr.

Panzerman,
I don't remember which ones I emailed to you but will get some proven loads together and re mail them. I'll include some for several bullet weights/type etc. Give me a few days though. Also I may not have your email address anymore.
