For 35rem the RCBS 35-200 have pretty much always fit each other.

You should be able to buy them ready-made from vendors online. IIRC montana bullet works is a reputable place. But buying cast projectiles can become expensive. Might do you good to do a cost/benefit analysis

I would be careful with molten KNO3 and things like aluminum not to mention any organic matter. Pot. Nitrate is a very good oxidiser which is why it's used for black powder.... In my opinion you're playing with things worse than fire.

I've found a great amount of accuracy is lost when the barrel nut and barrel jacket bushing become worn. Just like the colt 1911 platform. Understandably. .002" slop at the end the muzzle is worth about 1/4" at 100 yards. The tighter the assembly the less deviation there will be down range.

Yes, the Hornady isn't cheap. Honestly, I'm not sure any of it is anymore. But if you reload then a box or two of the Hornady should provide some brass to keep feeding the 8 until a 'seasonal' run of 35 Rem brass or the old Remington and Winchester ammo hits the shelves again.

I want a 'mouse fart' load using a very heavy cast bullet going subsonic that will still stabilize as well as (gently) operate the action. If I can get away without a gascheck I'd prefer it. So I'm interested in your experience with the heavies.
