That should work for me and the boss. Late July will be warm enough. I know this is primarily a Model 8/81 rodeo but would hope we might include some other John Browning designed arms. Am thinking about the A5`s and Remington model 11 and other variants. Perhaps a thrower or two (hopefully electric)...

Adam, understand what you are after now. I`ve converted standard swivel sets to studs for the uncle mikes style removable ones. Makes it handy to swap a favorite sling between several rifles. Removal of the sling loop with a dremel cutoff wheel is an easy do that leaves a stud with hole to attach th...

I was wondering about what ammo you were using. As Norm said the dents at case mouth not unusual. You may indeed have some internal rust buildup that is most likely the bolt spring carrier tailpiece and possibly upper and lower tang. Assured that you have the correct bolt removed (there is only one) proceed as suggested with the rubber mallet. If that doesn`t do it you can secure the buttstock i...

Well I`ll give it a try, though your information is a little sketchy. 6 inch grouping??? from a rest at 100 would not be acceptable for me. Adam Lee has brought up a valid point about shooting the Hornady FN 170gr .321 bullets in a model 14 or 141 Remington rifle chambered for 32 Rem. Of course it begs the question of why they will shoot just fine in Model 8`s or 81`s but not in the pump guns. Without going into the difference of tube f...

Well I`d have to agree that it is pretty sad but I wouldn`t toss it. From the photo it appears that the cheek piece was glued on over the stock.
