Aaaaannnd, they're sold out!
Hmmm, looks like they raised the price right before it sold out. $60 per box and $54 per if 5 or more bought. When I ordered, 10 days ago, it was $50 a box and $45 if 5 or more.

That's a nice looking pogo stick. I really like that flavor of peep sight on these guns, and the sling and recoil pad are very useful if one is going to hunt with it.

Your friend might also have only resized the necks of the cases which means they could only chamber in the same gun they had been fired out of last. Whatever the case, stick to factory or hand loads you do yourself for your particular gun. I load .30 Remington for my 8's and it works perfectly but I...

The curved extractor is from the early guns in the small calibers and the square shape us from the .35's and .300's and all the later guns.

Re: Is this a good book on reloading?
RCBS will work in Lee machines. They were designed for single stage loading and using them in a progressive machine, a Dillon for example, takes a little thought. For instance, I use the seating die to seat only and have a separate crimp die so as to not over stress the brass.

Howdy Do! I got into yet another obscure caliber when I started loading .30 rem. These old designs are a hoot to shoot, though my model 8 has been a pain in the arse due to parts failures. Still, what's a hobby without a few cuss words and busted knuckles?
