I like this mould, but take a look at the #32-175T on this site. Pope style bands, tapered, not gas checked,(expensive) this configuration should provide excellent accuracy with a serious wallop when loaded to velocities that minimize bore leading.
Sadly Lee doesn't make any close to .320.

Try brass threaded inserts, it should hold & they come in 8/32 as well. Inexpensive, & can be replaced if needed.

Use caution with the tight fitting socket. There's a barrel jacket plug inside the the sleeve. It's the base for the buffer and recoil spring and should not be moved. Just to follow-up, close magnification of the jacket reveals the funky mark after the '48 barrel code is the bottom of a mis-stamped 3. Which would be a repair code. To answer my own question, per a friend of Mr Henwood. The barrel hardpoint for the forearm is soldered, The threaded rear sight bar is a press fit in the jacket. ;) These operations with correct blueing would be Very difficult to complete outside the factory. Hope this helps other members in need. ...
