SAMMI data calls for 2.050 OAL for both it and the 30Rem. I wouldn't let it go more than .005 more than this standard.

You should check to see if the barrel springs are for a 300 Savage. This rifle has demonstrated it is very capable of handling the Savage caliber. ;) However the 25 Rem springs are not, It could cause damage to the rear of the receiver from excessive slam. :shock: Another possible problem could be i...

If you're getting started Lee equipment is often the most cost effective. I have a lot of their dies, priming tools, & have owned a lot of their presses. I suggest a turret press to start, it allows you to set the dies then LEAVE them ALONE. I like the Forster case trimmer and outside neck turne...
