The rifle has deluxe walnut wood,not standard grade with checkering which is often the case on C's. It has a pistol grip which was extra. It has the rare ribbed crescent butt plate. The $306.51 sight sale IMHO was a perfect storm for the seller. I think 2 guys that had to have it got into a pissin contest. I watch some auctions and they seem to end in the $125.00 price point on average.

It's about a 95% in 35 Rem. The guy I bought it from would not let me drop the safety lever for fear of scratching the action frame. I hope you enjoy the pix. Dennis

Boy, some of theses guns go through alot. I bought this early 8 (*45850) for parts. I know the butt is trash but I have a couple questions for curiosity sake. The forend is smooth but the butt is checkered and appears to be correct in style at least ?? ... The cheeks have a unique shape and are well...
