The only Stith mdl 8 carbine!

Finally after 4 years looking I have my complete 1907 circa model 8 carbine fully outfitted with a stith mount and a very rare El Paso, Tx k4 weaver with the range finding crosshairs.......can't wait till I can take her out and knock something down . http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y161/HOGCHASER/...

Yep, it turned out to be 85%ish to 90%ish. Still a great deal with all the ammo. anyone out there have any idea what if any modern scope will make that long stretch across between the inside of the rings?Thanks in advance mesurements are roughly 4.5" inside ring to inside ring

ya I guess no 99 this spring, and thanks to Roger and Cam for the extra 4 eyeballs on this one, I think if its as good as I think it is.....I got a $1000+ late mdl 81 for $400-$450 we'll see fingers crossed and M.O. in the mail, now the waiting .........

The hunt was down by Dublin, Texas and I didn't get it done with the 8. I tried most of the day to get close enough but never did. Did get one but with a more modern gun with a scope. yep still member and the founder of this site. Didn't get around to hunting the buffalo this fall due to having bell's Plasey for 6mo. I am going for red stag hinds and spikes in Feb and will have a model 8 in tow. Happy shooting all<>RJ

Yes Corey they are in Texas and no they are no cream puffs lol they are very aggressive and very tough.
