Notice the shooting doesn't seem to faze your best friend at all - mine would be running for the hills with his tail between his legs (if he had one LOL)

Its doubly nice to see these police guns in action as even if I were ever to have a chance to own one, it would be neutered to 5 rounds max. according to our ridiculous gun laws here.
Looking forward to the next one fellas!

Mr Ranman; Nice gun! Interesting that your rifle has a short mag tube, like a carbine - the 14 1/2 had a full length mag tube - what is the barrel length on your gun? this is one of 4000 british army rifles.1922 to 1935 In addition to the post quoted above, the following is what I received from a pr...

A horrible incident to be sure - my thoughts are with the families - but would this have been avoided with "gun control"? What exactly is "gun control"? Is it intrusive background checks and licencing of gun owners? (your ex from 10 years ago has to say its OK for you to have a g...

Nice rifle Jack - how many is that now?! Personally, I wouldn't bother to try to restore the forearm - I think its part of the personality and history of the gun. Even if you did restore it, it would still be "bubba'd" - that is to say, not original. I think she's a beauty just the way she...

Just rec'd this one in the mail - my 3rd so far 8-) It is in fantastic condition with just some light wear to the blue on the mag (obviously where it was carried), with the exception of some marring to the barrel bushing where some donkey tried to remove it with a pair of pliers. As far as I know, the holes were just to lighten the stock. Those are pretty cool (and usefull!) finds in your guns. I've never found anything in my Model 8s, but found this in one of my 1907 Winchesters.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/canuck/vintage%20iron/000_0561.jpg http://img.photobu...

Hi all I just got this 81 and have a question about the buttstock fit. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/canuck/Model%208/100_5381.jpg Does this look like a replacement or did the factory send out guns fit this way? Just recieved my first 81 in the mail a few days ago!
Paid $500 for it - Sept/49 dated in 300 Savage.
It has plenty of company in the way of two 8s in 35, one in 30, and two FN 1900s in 35
