Yep, I got an odd one. It is a 22-250. I need to have the .300 Sav removed and put the right caliber on it. I think packmule told me that the .300 barrel probably had been removed and the 22-250 was put in it's place. I have wondered how it would shoot.

Hey Sam,

I missed that little detail about the number on the receiver. I would rather think that this was just a case of mis-stamping the last two digits. Definitely something amiss with the numbering, but like I stated, it won't affect the shooting of the rifle.

You can find vintage peep sights but sometimes they are pricey. There are a couple of tang sights on Gun Broker at present. You can also find them on EBay from time to them. Just tell us what type you are looking for and someone will tell you where to look.
