I was Deer hunting, not Dear hunting. :o  I meant instead of HER shooting the deer. She wants to shoot one. Even moreso, now. She has hunted before, mostly before we had kids. They are big enough now that we can leave them for a little while to hunt, again. Hopefully we can get her a shot thi...

8 point with a Remington Autoloader
Well, it's not a model 8, but it is a Remington automatic. Dad's 7400 in 30-06. This was a buck I killed in December 2011 on his property. Dad had him on camera several times and nicknamed him "Longtine." This is the first nice buck I, or anyone, has killed on their place since they bought...

.35 Whelen is simply the .30-'06 necked up to .35. It is in no way related to the .35 Remington, nor is it interchangeable. I'd stick to regular factory .35 Rem ammo with the 200 grain bullet. Buy the .35 Rem LeveRevolution ammo only if you enjoy contributing to Hornady's marketing manager's bonus....

Nahhh, really was "claiming" it before anyone stuck him to that price of $5. He's asking $35 plus the $5 for shipping. It's listed on the Remington Society forum.
April Fools was yesterday, so I figured this was just an honest mistake.

Good Lord, don't go grinding on those clips!!!
The ears are stops so you don't push the clip in too far. The rounds should be pushed into the magazine, stripping them off the clip. The clip is just to hold them together for easier (?) loading.

BTW, try resting the rifle on something soft (rolled up jacket, soft guncase folded in half, etc). That may be why your shots are high and right. Any rifle will tend to "bounce" off a hard rest like that.

FALSE!!! You can HANDLOAD 357 pistol bullets (the projectile, not ammuntion) into 35 Remington cartridges for lower power plinking type loads. There is load data in reloading manuals for this. The 357 Remington Magnum will not fit properly in a 35 Remington chamber. Also, it is 0.358 inches in diame...
