Re: The Lee hand Press

Pitchy,
I really like the new MTM digital scale, fits in a shirt pocket. And it will handle 750 grains.
A lot less expensive than the RCBS -- Lyman stuff. 8-)

Re: How many reloaders do we have?

Tip for those avid reloaders: Imperial Sizing die wax is great!! It prevents those nasty times the shellholder rips the rim off a case. Just a tiny amount on the fingers will lube several cases; the "wax" protects die internals from rust, a quick wipe with a rag removes it from sized cases, the case...

Re: Remington Model 8 Safety Replacement

Big Al, I am very impressed with your use of clear plastic sheeting to simulate the receiver. There are a lot of other issues, assembly questions that could be better understood with this technique. If you have time, I'd encourage more photos. Way Cool!! Thanks :geek: On a side note how was the orig...

Re: 300 Savage loads for 81

Mr Lee, I really like cast loads in these calibers, Particularly 35Rem. Gas checks and linotype cast bullets are a great help for lead fouling. You might also try the "teflon" trick I posted :ugeek: under the Troubleshooting section. Just be sure to not get lube of any kind in a chamber. It can caus...

Leading the bore tip

Gents If you shoot cast bullets it could lead your bore. :o B4 this happens, go to Lowes tool dept, on the lubrication endcap you'll find Dupont spray (dry version) Teflon. Spray a little down the bore from the chamber end, Be SURE  not to get any in the chamber. Use the little red tube. Run a...

Re: WTB Model 8 in 25, 30 or 35 Rem

Ye PanzerMan, I've found a 25 Rem Model 8. I would like to chat about getting it to a good home. It has not been babied  , but has a heart. It should arrive in a week or 2 if you would be interested.
When I've in hand I'll take pics for us to exchange via email...

Lotsa Luck
