Re: WTB .30/.32 recoil spring, buffer spring, recoil spring case

Good for you, Adam. A note: which was the base for the 300S/35R swap? A 300 or the 35? They differ. :!: Have you fired any from both the barrel assemblies? Did it function OK? I've not tried it yet but I suspect the 300S bolt will function OK with standard 35R rounds and the correct barrel as long a...

Looks to be in better shape than mine; & I do like the shoulder strap it eases the wear on the hand grip. You may want to rethink the price. I've seen them sell for a lot more.

Ladies and Gents;
Had disc surgery a week ago, so I'll be a little less active for a while. Luckily it seems to be a great success. ;) Just got 6 weeks of rehab.
Jack it may be fortuitous our postponing the event. I won't be allowed :cry: :cry: any recoil for a couple of months anyway....

Don't believe the 25-30-32R is the same as the 35R-300Sav. The barrel is larger at the threads. Think I got a spare, got something to trade?

Be sure to check your bolt carrier for mushrooming from the hammer in the F/p hole, it can cause the pin to hang. It would affect a replacement too.

35Rem is right about the value, if not a little more. I think it's a very clean looking rifle for that age. My personal opinion would be to just plug the holes w/ plug screws. A reblue has more effect on condition for most of us than a set of scope holes. Just a thought, weld up & blueing will be almost as much as another rifle. :shock: After all she does want a sister to join her in the safe. :lol:
