I think the 2 pc. 30 Rem box metal cased box is a lot tougher than any of the 25's.

I doubt anyone will do a better job than Turnbull but it will be expensive I suspect. I would give D & D a call but be clear on what you want. I would prep the metal and have them blue it >> but that's just me <<< ... call them and say I want a gun reblued in high Gloss is fine but go in knowing tha...

That may be a rifle I considered buying it sure looks familiar.... if it's the same gun and at the same shop it's been around awhile. I balked at importing it for time, cost, and hassle.

Maybe, I am looking at this rifle with an eye more as a collectible than a shooter. I still see a high 90% condition 8 that would be somewhat hard to upgrade and should sell for a premium dollar. Mitch, you say you would sell a few for that price leading me to believe you have some high condition 8'...

I don't think the price is crazy stupid but I would like to see a few more pics. I think finding really clean 8's with little wear are tough >>> as far as getting a decent looking D grade for that price >>>> sign me up.
