Sharing the FN 1900 Database

Fellas, I'd love some feedback on this idea... I've kept a database of FN 1900 rifles for over 10 years. This includes (in most cases) photos of the rifle, serial number, and county of location. I'd love any suggestions on how to make that available to view here. I'm wondering if revisiting the Gall...

You did such a great job cleaning up that gun! I don't think it's just better lighting either, you can see the engraving much better and the wood looks great.

I love that you have historical provenance with the rifle which is a rare treat to go with a rare gun!

Re: Dont think I can afford this one! Police Special

I love seeing Police guns of any flavor! In the database, we've got 3 of the KY HIGHWAY PATROL guns on record. This is one of the 3. I don't know why, but they're all in what I'd call "fence post" condition, i.e. very rough. Still a cool and authentic rare "Special Police". This ...

I don't know much about the digital world to be honest, but I'd imagine we are not directly targeted like as in a human being somewhere is directing this situation. I think it's all computer generated.

It's been insane Hibby83. First we were getting over 100 new, fake accounts daily. We changed some of the spambot countermeasures and still it kept up. I eventually had to halt all new accounts. 2 days passed and there were over 400. Were some legit? I don't know and I didn't go through them all I j...

15 round POLICE magazine for sale! Nassau, NY??

This is a rare opportunity. I did a little research on this. The magazine is stamped "013 2". The "013" are the last 3 digits of the rifle's serial number, and "2" is the 2nd magazine that came with the gun (POE rifles came with 1-3 magazines depending on the dept.). Ch...

Hi Oliver, thanks for the additional details. The info we have available is mostly sales and inter-company data. Not dimensional data or drawings. The magazines are very valuable here even if they can be found by themselves (which is rare enough). Sometimes the magazines sell $1500-2500 alone. The 1...

You know these rifles have storied histories, most of it unknown to us today. The barrel nut is a replacement for sure, perhaps this happened during the time it was refinished, but again who knows. Most Model 8 parts should work directly or with minor modification/fitting. The checkering is not the original FN pattern, but done sometime later.

The closest relative of your rifle is # 566, an FN without a barrel rib located in Canada.
