Watson was a Canadian sight company not too much known about them. They do show up time to time have seen 99 savage sights by them never a model 8 one nice find.

no problem Jack, it sold in 2012 for $1500 plus auction fees , and yes Mr. Browning got a little frustrated with Winchester, that had the rights to most of his guns including the Model 8 but never wanted to produce it. So I was told by someone also lol

my little carbine is a 1907 circa MDL 8 , 35 rem will have to take the stith off that hunt but it would work. You can take two lions now in NM with one lic. So maybe one with a model 8 and one with the Lee speed would be the order of the day ........
