Re: Tang screw bushing dimesnions?

Well, for anyone wondering in the future, I figured it out. 9mm OD, 7mm ID (meaning 9mm bushing with a 1mm wall thickness) Seems to possibly be aluminum or very thin steel. The best guess is between 10 and 15mm long. Couldn't get my calipers close enough to that part of the stock to get a true readi...

Tang screw bushing dimesnions?

Any chance one of you gents has the tang screw bushing dimensions? I have one in my original stock but need one for a replacement stock and the OG stock isn't in such bad shape that it should have the bushing driven out of it potentially causing irreparable damage. As with most other parts, it's uno...

Rear barrel sight removal difficulty:

Good evening everyone. I recently secured a Marbles R6 tang sight for my model 8. In putting it on the rifle, I've found that the stock barrel-mounted rear sight is in the way of the front post. Re: Mystery Charging Handle Issue:

Okay, it came loose finally. Not the typical setup, so I can't tell if it was original to the gun or if it was done by a smith later on? There's a spring, plunger, charging handle, and screw-down end-cap to hold the spring against the plunger. Definitely not something I've in my limited experience. ...

New Member, First Model 8:

Good evening (well, at least here it is) everyone! I finally got my hands on my first Model 8 and am excited to get it cleaned up and ready for the range. Supposedly it's a 1910 in .35 Remington, but I haven't put much work into research yet. Trying to get it cleaned up but ran into a snag with the ...

Mystery Charging Handle Issue:

I just picked up a Model 8 on GB the other day and didn't realize that the charging handle appears to be non-standard. Instead of the little nub that you pull up to release the handle, this has a large slot like a screw. Anyone seen one like this? Slotting a gunsmithing screwdriver into the screw he...
