Mt brother inherited one from our great-grandfather (I got the remington bolt action .22). It shoots like a brand new one, and I was jealous enough to consider buying my own. I can't imagine how there would be any 'cons' associated with it. Fit and finish is vastly superior to the new double barrels...

Thanks, but I only need the barrel and I need it cheap. I may have underestimated the possibilities when I said "any condition".

WTB junk barrel
WTB any barrel, any caliber, any condition. Rusted, bulged, cut in half, I don't care. I'd consider a good one if the price is right, but I don't really need it to be good.

There were 5 when I was there around Christmas time. The full 4 piece set of model 8's, and the one model 81. The .32 caliber must have sold.
