Re: loading .32 Rem with .32 Win special dies?

If you let the dies out enough, you should be able to neck size using .32 Win Special dies. The problem is that if you set them down fully, the .32 Win Special dies will push the shoulder down incorrectly for the .32 Remington, which has a shallower shoulder angle than the Winchester cartridge. Re: .32 Rem brass at Grafs HEADS UP!

They also have .25 Remington brass available for the same price.

I just bought some of the .32 for the purpose of resizing to .30. I have heard some concerns of neck cracking of the Graf's brass. Would those of you who have experience with this supplier suggest annealing before the first firing?

Re: Very Slow Lock Time

You do not want to deepen the hole in the stock at all if possible. The pin that holds in the action spring plug is only designed to do so during disassembly, the stock should be putting pressure on the action spring plug during firing. The best way I have found to install the screw is to place the ...

.35 Remington Kleanbore Box

Does anyone have a .35 Remington Kleanbore box from the 1930s-40s that they would be willing to scan each side or take pictures of straight on? I would like to make a repro box to display next to my model 81.

Re: Parkerized Model 81 (Update) and Cartridge Case Issue?

I looked, the reloads were done by Sperry Reloading. Also I noticed that the cases with backed out primers were headstamped REM-UMC.

They are reloads I bought a while back loaded to factory specs, I don't remember offhand what company did it though.

Parkerized Model 81 (Update) and Cartridge Case Issue?

Well I got my gun out of layaway today and put around 20 rounds through her, wow that recoil is stout but compared to my Mosin Nagant or 8mm Mauser, not too bad. It has serial number 68XX and date code RG indicating it was made in Nov. 1938. It also has repair code DPP3 indicating it was sent back i...

Re: Parkerized Model 81

.35 rem is stamped/engrave into the end of the barrel that protrudes into the receiver and it has the normal safety lever.
