just got a email from old western scrounger, they are again loading 35, and they also have some 25 proper case marked, and said that they would have 30 and 32 later this year. the 25 is a bit expensive at $44 + per box, due to the cost of manufacture of the new brass.

There is a gun shop in waco tx, called unique guns, was just in there today and bought 2 boxes of 25 rem, he said he has 8 more, also 30, 35 and some 32 also. paid $45 a box, was reloads from old west scrounger, new brass marked 30 but necked to 25. Buffaloe arms still lists all of the calibers for the model 8, at present they are all out of stock, but seems they will make them when requested. this is where i got m y 25 ammo a while back. anyone needing a magazine indicator, i have 2 spares complete with springs.

Well the parts list i have and the one here differ, mine does not show the washer i posted earlier, but this list does, item 96, it is not illustrated but there it is for the 25 model only yeaaaaaa.

Got my barrell nut wrench today, it worked fine, i dissassemble the 25 rem and found an extra part in the jacket assembly. behind the buffer spring was a flat washer that matches the diameter of the buffer and is about 1/16 inch thick. the buffer spring meets the demensions given in the parts braked...

Thanks cam, that is the first proceadure i have seen or hear.Just tighten till the ratcheting stops.

Thanks Cam, i have had them all apart at one time or the other, except the barrells as an old aircraft mech, i do not go into something that requiers as special tool with out it, got one on the way, so i can clean the barrells and shrouds, i think i will measure the position of the barrell nut befor...

Seems there are numerous videos for dissassembly, but i have not found one for the correct proceadure to put the barrell jacket back togeather, most notably how to tighten the barrell nut, or how much. I have 6 model 8's, i want to dissassemble the barrells and clean them as i bet they have never be...
