I use Firefox as much as possible and have see no redirection. I am an IT supervisor so I can try more paths in but nothing from home or work as of yet.

I appreciate the warm welcomes - Jack and Cam. This flare-up of jackitis has drained my play money and kept me working for hours on minor repairs. Just the ticket! Thanks Roger. I'm west of Denver and both shops are within 5 miles of me. Maybe I should leave the glasses in the car from now on. :ugeek:

Boy, is that a nice rifle! It has a sight that is yet another in what will become a long line of things I haven't seen before. I noted the sling attachment point discussion and had already prepared an inquiry about my 1910 #1 swivel attachment points. They certainly appear to be contemporary to me, ...

Thank you Phirbird for the repair code heads up. It hadn't occurred to me that the rifle might pre-date the date codes. You were right and my A seems to be of 1910 manufacture and the D is 1916. All the better for me! I like them older than I am - the more the better.
