Need 81 lower tang screw

I need the tang screw that holds the stock on. Someone on this site posted a company that makes new reproductions and at the time I was sure there would be one on ebay but two months later, no luck. For now I will put a repro on until I find one in near perfect condition

My follower came out of the magazine well like a Jack in a box and I do not know how to orient the spring to get it back together right the first time. I was surprised to see how it was put together with riveted segmented pieces.

81 butt stock

I won this butt stock and want to know if it is for an 81. I was hesitant to bid because the comb wings (if this it what they are called) don't quite look right. I think they should be angled more downward.

the picture (#10) you removed was taken from above showing the receiver and only the tapered riser of the stock just behind the upper tang, from that angle it appeared to be a crack. Nice 8 with better pictures.

My way of preventing a front sight block breakage while drifting is taking a spring loaded clothespin, gluing it, straighten the angle on the inside to fit between the jacket and the sight as well as reducing the height so the jacket sits flat on a table.

I have a 35 Rem barrel that is too crusted to shoot, is it possible to rechamber it to another caliber that won't tear up the gun.
